Shipping and Lead Times Advisory
Industry-wide component shortages and supply chain constraints do continue to pose some challenges but rest assured that MAINGEAR has been consistently receiving allocations of all of the hardware we offer, and that all of our teams are working hard to fulfill orders as efficiently as possible.
In an effort to remain transparent and provide our customers with the most up-to-date information available, we've prepared this advisory to address our system lead times and shipping options, as well as to provide some answers to frequently asked questions. We kindly ask that you review the following information prior to contacting a support specialist.
LEAD TIME ESTIMATES
*** The following system lead times reflect the estimated time it takes to complete your build from start to finish, and do not include delivery time. While we will make every effort to ensure timely order fulfillment, due to the aforementioned factors, we cannot guarantee these timeframes. Timeframes begin once an order is processed (typically within 1 business day of ordering) A confirmation email is sent the moment that happens.***

To avoid order processing delays, we recommend all customers use matching billing/shipping addresses. Alternate shipping, while possible in most cases, may result in additional time needed to verify and process your order.
In addition to the free ground shipping MAINGEAR provides within the continental US, we are happy to offer you a variety of alternate shipping methods. Please be mindful that shipping methods only apply to the delivery time spent in-transit and have no impact on production lead times.

- FedEx 2Day A.M. (2 business days, delivered by noon to residential/10:30AM to businesses)
- FedEx Standard Overnight (Next business day, before 8PM to residential/4:30PM to businesses)
- FedEx Priority Overnight (Next business day, by noon in most areas)
- FedEx First Overnight (Next business day, by 9:30AM in most areas)
Alaska / Hawaii orders have higher shipping rates due to increased shipping costs.
Due to overloaded FedEx facilities and worker shortages, free ground shipments may experience slower delivery times. Package scans are sometimes missed along the way, which may result in less than accurate real-time tracking info or delays in tracking updates. MAINGEAR is not responsible for FedEx shipping delays and cannot re-route a package, or request it to be held somewhere, once it leaves our facility.
MAINGEAR is unable to deliver to any P.O. Box addresses or package forwarding facilities.
APO / AE / FPO addresses must be shipped via the United States Postal Service (USPS). Packages shipped via the USPS shipping method will see varying transit times. Please note, USPS is unable to ship desktops equipped with Apex integrated liquid cooling systems.
Due to the increased processing time required for international orders, as well as Customs clearance needs and restrictions, international orders are likely to see additional delays. Please contact a MAINGEAR sales specialist if you’re interested in purchasing from outside the US.
Aside from Canada, all international orders need to be placed by a member of our sales team, and only once you've approved the final landed cost estimate, which includes shipping fees, as well as any applicable duties and taxes. As always, local residents are more than welcome to pick up their system in-person from our facility in Warren, NJ. This will help to avoid shipping transit times but will not impact the production time of your system. Please note, all visitors are required to wear masks and practice social distancing while inside our facility.
International customers will be assessed shipping fees on any promotional items, unless excluded from the order.
We get a lot of the same questions each and every week, and while we're happy to respond to all email inquiries, please use this FAQ to see if your question is answered prior to contacting a sales or support specialist.
When is my PC going to ship?
This advisory and your current order status should tell you all you need to know. We appreciate you're anxious to take receipt of your new MAINGEAR system, but when fielding hundreds of specific status update inquiries each week, it can slow down the production process. We kindly ask for your patience while working to get your system completed.
The lead times have changed since I placed my order. Which applies to me?
Lead times will fluctuate based on a number of factors. Please refer to the lead time you were quoted at checkout, and not what the website currently states for new orders.
I haven't heard anything in a couple weeks. What's going on?
We haven't forgotten about you! While it may look like there isn't movement on your order, some stages can progress quicker than others based on various factors. We'll be sure to notify you as your system moves to the next phase of the build process.
How long does the "in queue"/"system assembled"/"QA burn-in" process take?
Our build queue is managed dynamically, and things may shuffle around to ensure we're working as efficiently and diligently as possible. Some orders may get assembled earlier and spend a longer period of time waiting for QA, while others may spend a longer time in queue waiting for assembly. However it plays out, the lead time you were provided when making your purchase is what we're striving for. Some orders will require a little extra time, while others may ship out ahead of schedule.
I placed my order a few days ago and selected FedEx Overnight delivery. Where's my shipment?
The shipping method you select only applies to the time spent in transit once an order is completed and has no impact on production time. Normal lead times still apply.
How do I track my order?
You can see your current order status from your MAINGEAR account dashboard, however, whether or not you have an account, we'll email you an update every time your order moves into a new stage of production (in queue, assembly, QA, completion). Tracking numbers aren't provided until the order is completed.
Why does the FedEx website show my tracking number is invalid?
All packages receive tracking numbers the moment they are packed and labeled by our shipping team, however, the tracking itself will not go live until the shipper picks up the package and scans it. Please allow up to 24 hours for live tracking and an anticipated delivery date.
What is your cancellation policy?

Can I pay to have my build expedited?
