Do you charge Sales Tax?

Sales tax is currently assessed on any order shipping to one of the following three states: New Jersey, Washington, and California. Systems shipping to any other state will not be charged tax at checkout. You may be required by your home state to declare your purchase and pay taxes when you file your state income tax. Please contact a tax professional in your area if you have any questions.

Please also be advised that if you choose to pick up your order from our facility in NJ ("Will Call - Local NJ Pickup"), but are coming from out-of-state, you will be charged NJ state sales tax at the time of pickup. This is required by law. NJ state sales tax is 6.625% of your entire order, and that can be paid by debit/credit card only. 

If you have a tax exemption as a non-profit, education, religious institution, and/or government agency, but are located in NJ, CA, or WA state, please contact sales@maingear.com after you've placed your order so we can refund the sales tax. Verification and proper documentation will be required.
