How do I check the temperature of my computer?

We find HWMonitor to have the best and most accurate temperature readings on most systems.

When you launch HWMonitor you will want to locate the "Temperature" section under your CPU (the name will vary according to the model of CPU in your computer). There be three temps for each core of your CPU: Value (Current temp), Min (Lowest recorded temp), and Max (Highest recorded temp). The “Max” and the “Value” numbers would be the most valuable information for the CPU temps.
